• Single Choice Voting: This type of election is ideal for swift decision-making processes (Yes/No/Abstain) and situations where voters possess similar levels of information regarding the decisions they are required to make.
• Multiple Choice Voting: Suited for complex issues where voters need a range of choices. It is recommended when voters need to assess multiple options that are not mutually exclusive.
• Ranked-Choice Voting: A technique in electoral selection that allows voters to prioritize candidates according to personal preference, ranking them from 1st to nth place rather than supporting only one candidate.
• Open Voting: Best used for selecting the most trusted leaders. Unlike traditional elections with specific candidates, all voters can vote for each other. The winner is determined based on a computed trust ranking derived from the voting graph.
